The Technology business unit is responsible for delivering, managing, and providing technology services within the air navigation services environment. This includes engineering design, software development, technology architecture, infrastructure, asset management, installation, maintenance, technical training, workload planning, maintenance program development, project management, and logistics support.

The Air Traffic Services Development (ATSD) unit provides safe and reliable Air Traffic Management (ATM) systems to our Service Delivery group. ATSD enhances and fixes problems as well as provides operational support and adaptation.

As the Oceanic Systems Team Leader, you will lead the requirements and acceptance testing for the Oceanic ATS operational systems to optimise system service delivery. You will work closely with your team to find and assess issues with the system and deploy releases into the live operational environment.

You will maintain an overview of current Communication, Navigation & Surveillance (CNS)/Air Traffic Management (ATM) system developments in the international aviation community. This will enable you to anticipate and evaluate enhancements for Airways' Oceanic Control System (OCS) and identify opportunities.

Requirements
  • 5+ years experience in system development in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify and implement process and system enhancements.
  • Understanding of risk assessment and financial awareness.
  • Confidence needed to interact with both internal and external customers.
