**Supply Chain Leadership Opportunity**
Amphenol, a leading provider of power distribution interconnect solutions, seeks an experienced supply chain professional to join our team as a global supply chain strategist. This role involves developing and executing strategies to drive business growth through effective procurement and supply chain management.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of global supply chain processes, logistics, procurement, and sustainability practices. They will possess excellent strategic planning and execution skills, with proficiency in data analysis and supply chain management software.
This role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing global supply chain operations, including both internal and external manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain and sourcing strategy, aligning with the company's strategic plan and stakeholder needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Foster a culture of accountability and commercial mindset within the supply chain team.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing global supply chain operations.
- Strong understanding of global supply chain processes, logistics, procurement, and sustainability practices.
- Excellent strategic planning and execution skills, with proficiency in data analysis and supply chain management software.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in vendor management.
