The estimated salary for this position in Auckland is NZD $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced International Customs Clearance Specialist to join our Auckland team. As a key member of our customs team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient clearance of goods entering and exiting the country.
Your primary duties will include:
- Authorizing operational requirements to ensure timely customs and security clearances
- Identifying tariff initiatives to benefit customers
- Maintaining client product files and auditing
- Arranging customs clearance and delivery
- Liaising with customers, management, and suppliers
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in the transportation or logistics industry
- A current PIN
- Excellent communication, planning, organization, and problem-solving skills
