The Role
Mercy Hospice is seeking a Trusts and Foundations Coordinator to join our Fundraising team. This permanent, part-time position (24 hours per week) involves coordinating grant research, writing proposals, and maintaining relationships with funders.
Key Responsibilities
- Researching potential trusts and foundations that align with Mercy Hospice's mission and strategic goals.
- Preparing grant proposals customised to match the priorities and guidelines of each funder.
- Cultivating and maintaining relationships with trust and foundation representatives.
- Monitoring and managing administration of grants, including tracking funds and preparing timely accountability reports to funders.
- Planning and maintaining the annual grants calendar, analysing trends and feedback, and providing reporting on grants activity and outcomes.
