Auckland University of Technology's mission is to accelerate impact through partnerships. The AUT Foundation is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join their team as an Advancement Specialist - Coordinator.

About the Role

This role will support the development of philanthropic giving initiatives, assist in the implementation and management of donor stewardship programs, and maintain accurate records. Key responsibilities include:

  • Foundation Administration & Coordination: Develop and improve philanthropic giving initiatives, assist in implementing and managing donor stewardship programs, and maintain accurate records.
  • Scholarships & Awards Coordination: Collaborate with the Scholarships Office and relevant school staff to coordinate the establishment of new scholarships and manage existing scholarships offered through AUT Foundation external stakeholders.
  • Donor Stewardship, Marketing & Communications: Assist in coordinating donor-related events, manage social media channels, and develop communication materials.
  • Project Support: Coordinate information and collaborate with various stakeholders to support Foundation projects.
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with CRM software (The Raiser's Edge) would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of ICT applications and professional social media channels.
  • Previous experience in a tertiary office would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience in marketing, communication, and event coordination.
