The Role

As an Energy Contracts & Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in managing and optimising our growing portfolio of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). Your goal will be to ensure these agreements deliver value through smart contract management, process innovation, or working with internal teams and industry partners.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our energy portfolio and influence how Genesis navigates the evolving energy market.

You will work closely with our internal teams and industry partners to develop new IT solutions that make our operations smarter and more efficient. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and optimising our PPAs
  • Supporting large-scale tender processes and refining contract terms
  • Developing new IT solutions to enhance operations

About You

You are a commercially savvy professional with a strong understanding of contractual terms and how to turn them into operational strategies. You have experience managing Power Purchase Agreement contracts or large-scale commercial procurement.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in finance, engineering, or another quantitative field or equivalent experience with financial or market data
  • Experience managing Power Purchase Agreement contracts or large-scale commercial procurement
  • A strong understanding of contractual terms and how to turn them into operational strategies
  • Experience with Excel; familiarity with VBA and SQL is beneficial but not a requirement
