About the Role: We're seeking an experienced Network Operations Architect to shape the future of Tuatahi's network operations, ensuring efficiency, automation, and scalability. Reporting to the Head of Network Operations, this leadership role combines technical expertise and strategic vision to drive the development of high-performance OSS solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and maintaining the OSS architecture to align with business goals and industry best practices
  • Leading the development and implementation of OSS solutions to enhance network automation and performance
  • Managing and mentoring a team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
  • Engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure OSS solutions meet business needs
  • Driving technology evaluation and adoption, staying ahead of industry trends
  • Ensuring governance and compliance with security and regulatory standards
  • Providing 24/7 support for OSS systems, ensuring high availability and rapid incident response

Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience in network OSS architecture, design, or development, preferably in telecommunications; strong knowledge of Layer 1 & Layer 2 technologies, xPON, MPLS, VXLAN-EVPN, and 4/5G wireless subscriber access; proven experience leading OSS architecture strategy and implementing automation solutions; expertise in network automation, scripting, and API integration; experience managing multi-disciplinary project teams and delivering complex technical solutions; excellent problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
