We're seeking a skilled Electrical Network Specialist to join our Substation Services team at WEL Networks. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, particularly in the field of substation protection.

As an Electrical Network Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and testing relays and protection schemes, as well as commissioning brand new schemes as part of capital works projects. You'll work closely with our team to ensure the reliable and effective operation of our network and associated substations.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A registered electrician/protection technician qualification or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years post-qualifying experience in the electrical industry, preferably in a similar role
  • Demonstrated expertise in testing and commissioning primary and secondary equipment
  • An unwavering commitment to workplace safety
