About the Role

As a Senior Investigator in Group; Integrity, you will play a key role in managing investigations into insider crime at ANZ Aotearoa. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct timely, fair, and high-quality investigations into fraud, theft, and similar serious misconduct, major reputational risk issues, and those involving the conduct of executives. Your findings should provide valuable learning for ANZ Aotearoa to improve its risk and control environment.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Buold and maintain strong relationships with our key internal stakeholders, providing trusted advice on internal fraud governance and specific cases in the team or function.
  • Conduct investigations efficiently, effectively, and properly, informed by a deep understanding of procedural fairness requirements in workplace investigations.
  • Proactively support and mentor other investigators in the team and GI function, delivering high-quality investigations that are procedurally and substantively fair.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will ideally bring:

  • Extensive experience in workplace investigations, including demonstrated understanding of baseline legal requirements and deep experience in conducting those investigations.
  • Drafting high-quality investigation reports, applying the rules of evidence, and fact-finding.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and supporting the development of others, preferably other workplace investigators.
  • Foresnsic analysis, using systems to source data and interrogating data.
  • Sophisticated verbal and written communication skills, planning, prioritization, and delivery.
