Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a senior communications advisor to join our corporate communications team on a 13-month fixed-term parental leave cover. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing communications projects and plans that promote the University's profile and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage and implement internal communications projects and campaigns, ensuring effective engagement with key audiences.
  • To provide strategic advice and support to staff who produce internal communications, promoting consistent messaging and branding.
  • To collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver multi-media communications strategies that enhance AUT's reputation and newsworthiness.
  • To build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the University, ensuring open communication and collaboration.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will have a University degree in Communications, a minimum of three years' experience in a communications role, and excellent communication and project management skills.
