Job Overview
The Senior Investigator role plays a crucial part in building trust and confidence in New Zealand's economy. As a key member of the Business Registries Team, you will lead investigations and work closely with colleagues to achieve objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex investigations, interviews, and reporting on investigation progress.
- Provide input to relevant reports in relation to offending against applicable legislation.
- Assist in the development of initial investigation plans, identifying and securing relevant evidence.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in leading complex criminal investigations and prosecutions.
- Sound knowledge of New Zealand legislation, particularly the Companies, Insolvency, Privacy, and Official Information Acts.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to identify and manage risk.
- Demonstrated planning and organising skills, including critical assessment of workflows and prioritising work.
