Job Description

We are seeking experienced Psychology Associates to join our team at the Arizona Department of Corrections - Lewis located in Buckeye, AZ. As a key member of our mental health team, you will perform and document mental health evaluations, progress notes, individual and group counseling notes, and suicide watch notes. You will also coordinate with healthcare and security staff regarding patients' mental health care and release dates.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and document mental health evaluations, progress notes, individual and group counseling notes, and suicide watch notes
  • Coordinate with healthcare and security staff regarding patients' mental health care and release dates
  • Participate in educational and training activities related to mental health care for patients, security personnel, and healthcare staff

Qualifications

  • Masters prepared candidate with active, unrestricted licensure as a Mental Health Professional in AZ
  • 3 years experience preferred
  • LMSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, or LMFT
  • Valid CPR card
