We're looking for a highly skilled individual to join our Ministerial Services team as an Advisor, providing timely, comprehensive, and tailored ministerial services.

Job Description

  • Provide ministerial correspondence and responses to parliamentary, customer, and public requests for information.
  • Manage, process, and draft responses to requests for information and ministerial correspondence.
  • Work collaboratively with employees across the ministry to ensure responses meet statutory requirements and are issued within relevant timeframes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Respond to official correspondence, including Official Information Act and Privacy Act requests.
  2. Draft and finalize responses to ministerial correspondence.
  3. Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and networks.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Excellent prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple items of work at one time.
  • Superior oral communication and writing skills.
  • Solid understanding of public sector arrangements and processes.
  • At least one year of experience as an advisor working in a ministerial team.
