About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Business Partnership team. As a key member of our Marketing and Communications team, you will oversee and develop strategic partnerships with senior leaders across the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and communications, with at least 15 years of experience in successfully managing relationships with senior leaders. You will possess excellent leadership and management acumen, including the ability to bring out the best performance in others, coach and develop people, and communicate effectively in a culturally competent manner.

About Us: The New Zealand Law Society is the professional body for barristers and solicitors in New Zealand. We regulate all lawyers practising in New Zealand and are the membership organisation for practising lawyers. With 13 branches throughout the country, we are the Kaitiaki (guardian) of the practice of law in Aotearoa New Zealand and the consumers of legal services.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic partnerships with senior leaders across the organisation
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Mentor and support staff to develop their skills and knowledge
