Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Technical Leader at the National Metrology Centre (NMC), you will play a crucial role in leading the development and establishment of internationally recognized measurement standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development, establishment, and upgrading of internationally recognized measurement standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with A*STAR's quality system based on ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
  • Promoting the national temperature and humidity standards and measurement technologies to industries through high-value-added calibration and measurement services.
  • Developing new metrology capabilities and services based on emerging needs of industries.
  • Raising the level of measurement capabilities of the industry by providing measurement solutions, conducting consultancies, training, and proficiency testing in temperature and humidity measurements.
  • Supervising students and trainees under attachment programmes.
  • Conducting technical assessments under the Singapore Accreditation Council-Singapore Lab Accreditation Scheme and training new technical assessors.
  • Representing NMC in global and regional metrology fora.
  • Leading the lab team to ensure lab operation meets A*STAR's requirements in Health Safety and Environment.
