Senior Occupational Therapist Leader

Are you a visionary leader with a passion for advancing clinical practices and services? We invite you to join MINDS as our Senior Occupational Therapist Leader
- You will be responsible for leading collaborations with various organisations and ministries to drive evidence-based practices that align with emerging trends in specialty areas.
- Additionally, you will provide consultancy and specialist expertise to other organisations, relevant professionals, and at national or international projects and conferences.
We require an individual who can effectively design quality improvement projects to enhance client care and clinical services at the organisational and/or departmental level.
- You will guide the holistic management of clinically complex cases, taking into consideration multi-disciplinary perspectives.
- Furthermore, you will lead the development of multi-disciplinary practices and approaches.
In this role, you will develop implementation frameworks for professional standards in clinical, legal, and ethical practices.
- You will drive the development of clinical practice guidelines and protocols.
- Additionally, you will develop the framework and implementation plan for clinical audits, review their conduct and analyse outcomes, and develop preventive measures for clinical adverse events.
As our ideal candidate, you will oversee the setting of clinical practice guidelines and clinical competency standards across disciplines.
- You will lead the development of induction, clinical orientation, and mentorship programmes for new staff.
- Furthermore, you will lead the development of clinical supervision framework and guidelines, oversee implementation plans, and evaluate the quality of clinical supervision across disciplines.
This position requires someone who can establish frameworks for staff participation in continuous professional development and lead professional development initiatives and programmes across all disciplines.
- You will create opportunities for capability development and co-learning across institutions, departments, or settings to advance staff learning.
- Additionally, you will collaborate with educational institutions, clinical educators, and regional facilitators to advance staff learning.
We are looking for a leader who can develop strategies for talent management and oversee the recruitment, selection, and assessment of staff.
- You will lead the development of departmental research, data management, and analytics frameworks and provide clinical expertise and consultation for research.
- Furthermore, you will collaborate with other departments and organisations to advance staff's research opportunities.
To be successful in this role, you must possess a minimum Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Social Work, or Speech & Language Therapy recognised by the relevant local professional associations.
- You should have post-graduate qualifications in a relevant field of clinical specialisation.
- A minimum 10 years of experience in AHP clinical practice and 5 years of experience in AHP clinical supervision is required.
- Prior experience in supervisory and/or leadership roles is also essential.
