Job Description


Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician and take advantage of this exciting opportunity to work with a leading poultry breeding company. As a key member of our Hatchery team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.


About the Role


This is a permanent position with weekday hours, reporting directly to the Hatchery Manager. You will be required to work collaboratively with the hatchery team to achieve shared goals and objectives, adhering to strict biosecurity protocols and animal welfare guidelines at all times.


Key Responsibilities



  • Maintain and repair equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and efficiency;
  • Analyse equipment failures and identify solutions to prevent future occurrences;
  • Work collaboratively with the hatchery team to achieve shared goals and objectives;
  • Adhere to strict biosecurity protocols and animal welfare guidelines to maintain the highest standards within the industry.

Requirements


To be considered for this role, you must possess:



  • A trade qualification or relevant experience working with maintenance equipment in an agricultural setting;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently;
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills;
