The Ministry of Justice is seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a Family Court Co-ordinator.

This role plays a key part in managing relationships with management, the judiciary, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the Family Court.

This is a permanent 28 hours per week position based at the New Plymouth District Court. As part of the Lower North Island Family Court Co-ordinator team, you'll be responsible for coordinating specialist services and supporting court users.

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate specialist services to support court operations.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  3. Support court users and provide information on court processes and procedures.
  4. Analyse and interpret relevant legislation to inform decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
