Job Description

This role is ideal for those with a background in recruitment, talent acquisition, business development or industry experience in Healthcare, Construction, Retail, Education & Training, Manufacturing and Horticulture.

You will build and maintain strong relationships with employers to create job opportunities and support sustainable employment outcomes.

You'll work closely with businesses to establish and promote vacancies, manage the recruitment process, and assist with onboarding and induction.

You will also educate employers on MSD's products and services, ensuring they are aware of available support and incentives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in recruitment, sales, business development or a similar role where relationship-building with employers is key.
  • A focus on results with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, job placement targets, and navigate setbacks.
  • Confidence in cold calling, networking, and using technology to source employment opportunities.
  • The ability to identify job opportunities and know what strategies to use to engage employers considering the local labour market.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to travel within the region to meet employers as required.
