Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled remuneration and pay equity expert to lead the development and implementation of the Department's remuneration and pay equity strategies. As Manager (ER) Pay and Employment Equity, you will oversee all aspects of our pay systems, including annual remuneration review for applicable staff, implementing outcomes from collective bargaining in relation to pay, work on pay equity and pay equity claims, and provide advice and recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team and Chief Executive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement remuneration and pay equity strategies
  • Oversee pay systems, including annual remuneration review
  • Implement collective bargaining outcomes
  • Work on pay equity and pay equity claims
  • Provide advice and recommendations to senior leaders

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strategic ER/HR experience in the Public Sector
  • Experience in remuneration frameworks and pay equity claims
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A proven ability to influence, guide, and coach senior leaders and specialists
