Role Overview

The Department of Corrections seeks a highly skilled remuneration and pay equity expert to lead the development and implementation of the Department's remuneration and pay equity strategies. As Manager (ER) Pay and Employment Equity, you will oversee all aspects of our pay systems, including annual remuneration review for applicable staff, implementing outcomes from collective bargaining in relation to pay, work on pay equity and pay equity claims, and provide advice and recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team and Chief Executive.

About the Role

  • Lead the development and implementation of the Department's remuneration and pay equity strategies
  • Oversee all aspects of our pay systems, including annual remuneration review for applicable staff
  • Implement outcomes from collective bargaining in relation to pay
  • Work on pay equity and pay equity claims
  • Provide advice and recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team and Chief Executive

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strategic ER/HR experience in the Public Sector
  • Experience in remuneration frameworks and pay equity claims
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A proven ability to influence, guide, and coach senior leaders and specialists

Salary Information

The salary range for this role is $148,864 - $210,161, with a midpoint of $175,134. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
