Role Description
The University of Otago is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the Operations Lead position within the Operations Division. As an Operations Lead, you will be responsible for leading staff and coordinating professional services to ensure the smooth daily functioning of various operations areas across the university.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a thorough understanding of your team's administrative scope and university systems and processes.
- Improve systems and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure that your staff are properly trained, equipped, and supported to carry out their roles.
- Work closely with stakeholders to achieve common goals.
Requirements
- Significant experience in complex administration environments.
- Ability to remain calm, adaptable, and flexible in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Foster empowered and driven team environments.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
