Salary: $140,938 (midpoint), fixed term for 12 months
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Clinical Advisor to join our Knowledge Translation and Implementation team. As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic and operational advice, leadership, and coordination to drive system change and achieve ambitious goals outlined in the New Zealand Cancer Action Plan 2019-2029.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality strategic and operational advice, leadership, and coordination as part of our work programme.
- Identify linkages, overlaps, and synergies with other relevant work programmes within our agency, the Ministry of Health, and the sector.
- Support work within the agency to deliver on government and agency priorities and objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in health or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the cancer sector is essential.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to write and talk about technical issues clearly.
- Ability to interpret and understand complex data analysis and communicate trends and changes to different audiences.
