* Fixed Term/secondment position until 31/7/2025, Wellington based * Salary $75k - $88k Tenei turanga - About the Role: We have an exciting fixed term/secondment opportunity for a Credit Control Specialist in our busy Credit Control team within the wider Corporate Operations team in Corporate Services.
In this role you will utilise your excellent administrative, accounts and debt management processing skills along with good relationship management to provide a seamless and timely credit control and accounts receivable administration for our customers.
You will bring your excellent administration, operational and attention to detail skills to deliver comprehensive credit control, debt management and financial processing activities.
You will be technically savvy with good knowledge of financial legislation and operational processing acumen.
This is a hands-on role in a busy time commitment processing environment.
About the team: The Corporate Operations team sits within the Corporate Services Branch in the Corporate, and Digital Shared Services Group.
The Corporate Operations team is responsible for managing all end to end operational and processing and ensuring at all times, that we achieve compliance in all matters.
We monitor and report on our services, with attention to detail, and a strong eye for customer services, and continuous improvement.
About the branch: The Credit Control Specialist reports to the Manager Credit Control, in the Corporate Operations team within Corporate Services.
The Branch comprises the following functions: Corporate Operations Corporate Reporting and Insights Corporate Systems Service Excellence Commercial Operations and Assurance Commercial Projects and Business Adoption Commercial Services Strategy Governance and Administration Nga pukenga me nga wheako e hiahiatia ana - Skills and Experience Required We are interested to hear from candidates who have the following: * Good knowledge and experience in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable (or related work) in large and complex Organisations * Previous experience in fast paced admin and operational roles with tight deadlines, and great attention to detail.
* The ability to deal with multiple stakeholders, and to develop and maintain effective relationships internally and externally.
* Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex issues in a way that engages the audience.
* Relevant tertiary qualification and/or comparable experience in a related role.
* Must have legal right to live and work in NZ.
