Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Emergency Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Wellington Regional Hospital. The successful applicant will have a passion for ongoing learning and development, with the ability to share, support and develop the practice of others.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Provide advanced, comprehensive care for patients in the emergency setting.
  • Perform assessments, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams as applicable.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to manage patient flow efficiently.
  • Ensure the highest level of care and safety for all patients.
  • Utilise advanced clinical judgment and critical thinking to make informed, timely decisions.

About You

">

We are looking for a recognised advanced practice nurse with experience in emergency nursing (minimum 3-4 years) or related practice area. The successful applicant will have comprehensive knowledge of the NZ health system, the District environment, systems, and processes.
