Job Description
We have a Matanga Tapuhi Nurse Practitioner (NP) Emergency position available, with an option for Nurse Practitioner Candidacy to support registration for this area of practice. This hospital-based role improves access to services, requiring a flexible approach to work, providing consultation, direct care, and treatment enabling episodes of care management in collaboration, as well as support through clinical advice and education.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need Matanga Tapuhi Nurse Practitioner registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ). Experience in emergency nursing (Minimum 3-4 years) or related practice area is also essential. Additional knowledge, attributes, and experience ideal for this position include leadership, management, coaching, and mentoring approaches, proficiency in advanced nursing procedures, exceptional attention to detail, time management, and strong team player skills.
