About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Emergency Department team at Wellington Regional Hospital.
The successful candidate will provide advanced nursing care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, and development of treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing comprehensive care to patients in the emergency setting
- Performing assessments and developing treatment plans in collaboration with medical teams as applicable
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and support staff to manage patient flow efficiently
- Ensuring high-quality care and safety for all patients
About You:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced nurse practitioner who possesses excellent clinical skills and leadership abilities.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-4 years' experience in emergency nursing or related practice areas and hold registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
