Land Management Expert

Job Overview
Toitu Te Whenua plays a vital role in understanding, developing, and caring for New Zealand's whenua, moana and arawai (land, sea and waterways). As a key member of our team, you will oversee the compliant and effective management of land, with a particular focus on Treaty settlements.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage stakeholder relationships, particularly with Treaty partners
- Oversee the delivery of work through external service providers
- Handle reactive maintenance, process complex applications, and ensure compliance across a wide range of activities
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in land management or a closely related field
- Contract management, administration, and project management experience
- In-depth knowledge of government legislation and public policy
- Experience with Treaty settlements and Maori-Crown relations
