Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Professional to join our Infant, Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health Service (ICAFS) team. This role is ideal for a registered Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse with experience working in child and adolescent mental health.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assessment and treatment of infants, children, young people, and their families
- Risk assessment and management
- Multi-disciplinary team working
- Community liaison
About You: To be successful in this role, you will possess a relevant qualification, registration with the relevant professional body, and an up-to-date annual practicing certificate. You will also have experience in the child and adolescent mental health sector and a proven ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team. Additionally, you will have skills and expertise in working with adolescents and their families, bi-cultural and multi-cultural work practices, multi-disciplinary team working, and community liaison.
About Our Team: The Tautawhi team provides choice appointment initial assessments, brief interventions, consult liaison to the inpatient wards at Hutt Hospital, and support at crisis assessments undertaken by the Crisis Resolution Service. We work together as a multidisciplinary team to deliver individual, whanau, and group-based treatment, including Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Family Therapy. There is much opportunity for co-working across teams as part of specialised therapies and group treatments provided at the service.
