Executive Assistant to the GM Policy

As an Executive Assistant to the General Manager Policy & Planning, you will play a critical role in supporting our General Manager and the wider Policy, Planning & Regulatory Services leadership team. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager: Provide high-level support to the General Manager and the wider Policy, Planning & Regulatory Services leadership team.
- Diary management: Manage the General Manager's schedule, including prioritising and organising events and meetings and compiling briefing material daily.
- Liaison and communication: Manage Local Government Official Information Management Act (LGOIMA) requests for the PPRS group and prepare, manage and review communication and correspondence to a high standard of accuracy and quality.
- Project coordination: Establish and maintain effective systems for document management and provide exceptional administrative assistance with documents, presentation material and project coordination.
About You
We're looking for someone who has several years' experience working in a busy executive assistant position, ideally at a senior level. You should have successfully worked in a fast-paced environment with a flexible can-do attitude, excellent skills in relationship management with a wide range of stakeholders, relishes variety, and is deadline driven. You bring a high level of customer service ethos and display a highly confidential and professional demeanour. You are an excellent writer and communicator.
