About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Snow Transportation Host to join our team at Queenstown Station Building. As a Snow Transportation Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while transporting guests to and from our ski fields on our Express Service.

Your duties will include:

  • Driving Safely

You will be required to drive safely and efficiently, ensuring the comfort and safety of all passengers.

Schedule Adherence

Adhere to schedules and timetables, communicating effectively with dispatchers and passengers.

Loading and Ticketing

Assist with bus loading and ticket/pass collecting, maintaining a safe and efficient queue management system.

Weather Conditions

Respond promptly to changing weather conditions, adjusting driving habits accordingly.

Guest Service

Demonstrate friendly and engaging service to all guests, providing informative commentary and addressing any customer complaints or queries.

Equipment Management

Maintain equipment, including snow chains, in good working order, ensuring correct storage and usage.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Valid Licence

A valid NZ driver's class 2 or 4 license is essential, with a New Zealand class 2 license and P endorsement required prior to commencement.

Heavy Vehicle Experience

Proven experience driving light vehicles, loaders, or other heavy vehicles on snow and ice would be highly advantageous.
