Account Manager

We currently have an opportunity for a motivated and driven Account Manager to join our Hamilton Commercial team.
This role has a high degree of autonomy and would suit a motivated B2B and B2C sales professional, experienced in field sales, new business and relationship development.
A large portion of this role involves being on the road bringing on new business and maintaining existing accounts.
Some key duties include: Growing and developing truck and machinery sales by sourcing assets; Direct selling through auctions, business development and other sales activities, including cold calling; Assist with building a national buyer base and promote trucks, machinery and mobile plant for sale; Developing and maintaining sound, regular and positive relationships with vendors and buyers, ensuring they achieve agreed services and revenue objectives; Signing customers onto contracts, ensuring all the necessary paperwork is complete, reserves discussed prior to handing to the admin team.
The key attributes we are looking for are: A confident and vibrant disposition with the ability to build trust and rapport; A driven sales professional who strives on success; Results focused with proven ability to reach sales targets; Articulate with good verbal and written communication skills, including working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite; Previous experience in a similar industry is highly desirable.
