Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician to join our team in Hauraki on a permanent basis, working a relief EMA roster with a 4 x 4 DDNN shift pattern.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Operating the ambulance and providing patient care under supervision
  • Maintaining operational readiness of vehicle and equipment
  • Completing administrative tasks as required
Requirements

To succeed in this position, you must possess:

  • A current St John Authority to Practice (ATP) at First Responder or EMT level
  • An excellent driving record
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
  • A genuine commitment to the wellbeing of others
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure as part of a team
  • New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work visa
