Role Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and energetic Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team in Morrinsville, supporting the Eastern Waikato Network Outcomes Contract. This contract covers the Hauraki Plains - Coromandel Peninsula region.
This region includes maintenance of 530 kilometers of State Highways and pavement widely diverse in nature, including remote coastal roads, rugged logging roads, and heavily populated tourist bus trails.As the Community Outreach Coordinator, you will support the contract team to maintain and nurture strong relationships with our local community and key stakeholder groups, allowing the contract to achieve operational objectives.

  • Support the contract team to maintain and nurture strong relationships with our local community and key stakeholder groups.
  • Liaise with the wider team, responding to issues and enquiries, and initiating effective working relationships internally and externally.
  • Administer tasks across multiple projects, ensuring high-quality work and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and listening skills for communications, document preparation, and report writing.
Requirements
  • A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in road maintenance or infrastructure processes or similar operations preferred.
  • Strong administrative skills, the ability to manage time across multiple tasks, and be comfortable dealing with people.
  • Confidently initiate, grow, and maintain effective working relationships, both internally and externally.
