Environmental Management Specialist

As an Environmental Management Specialist, you will work primarily with landowners, stakeholders, and Māna Whenua to achieve improvements in land management. This role involves understanding different land uses and how they can contribute to good catchment outcomes when managed effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with farmers, stakeholders, and Māna Whenua to develop and implement effective land management strategies.
- Assess and monitor land use practices to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, farmers, and Māna Whenua.
We are seeking a self-motivated individual with a strong understanding of agricultural systems and land management practices. You will have experience working in a collaborative environment and be able to build trust with diverse stakeholders. A degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
