The Parliamentary Service has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Project Manager to join our Future Accommodation (Special Projects Team) within the Corporate Services Group.
This crucial role involves managing and delivering projects aligned with the Future Accommodation Strategy (FAS), ensuring Parliament is well-equipped for its accommodation needs over the next 30 years.
You will work collaboratively to ensure seamless project management for building and accommodation matters while supporting the Project Director and FAS Project Leads in strategic direction and execution.
- Project Delivery & Strategy: Deliver projects within scope, budget, and timelines, aligning with best practices and managing documentation for handover.
- Procurement & Contract Management: Develop and execute procurement strategies, manage contracts, and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
- Planning & Compliance: Assist in project scoping, ensure building/heritage compliance, and obtain necessary consents.
- Programme Management: Establish and monitor project programmes, identifying risks and ensuring timely delivery.
- Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, including forecasting, variance reporting, and risk identification.
- Stakeholder & Consultant Coordination: Coordinate internal/external resources and consultants, ensuring timely and compliant documentation.
- Risk Management & Quality Assurance: Implement risk management plans and ensure quality assurance throughout projects.
- Health & Safety: Manage contractor health and safety in compliance with HSWA, ensuring safe work practices.
- Communication & Relationships: Maintain stakeholder communication, manage relationships, and share knowledge.
- Post-Project Management: Manage post-completion documentation, conduct evaluations, and drive continuous improvement.
The starting salary range for this role is $111,343 per annum.
