As a Senior Intelligence Analyst in the National Security Group, you will play a critical role in supporting national security efforts by analyzing and interpreting complex intelligence data. This includes identifying emerging trends and threats, developing strategic plans to mitigate risks, and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure effective decision-making. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from counterterrorism initiatives to crime prevention strategies. We are looking for an experienced intelligence analyst who can think critically, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role- Proactively identify emerging or escalating trends in crime, crashes, and community reassurance.
- Lead and collaborate on projects and group analysis.
- Effectively manage competing priorities and demands to maintain quality of work under strict timeframes.
- Contribute to a positive team culture.
- Identify, establish, and maintain productive working relationships with internal groups, and external domestic and international entities.
- Work with limited supervision on complex analytical problems.
- Consider and champion diversity, different perspectives, and the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in all intelligence outputs.
- Is resilient in the face of demanding workloads and confronting subject matter, including objectionable material.
- Provide technical guidance in Intelligence analysis tools and coach junior members of the team to develop their Intelligence tradecraft including regular peer review.
