We are seeking a senior geriatrician to join our Older Persons and Rehabilitation Team in Rotorua. As a senior geriatrician, you will play a key leadership role in our team and be responsible for developing and implementing geriatric care programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement geriatric care programs.
- Provide specialist geriatric care to patients in the hospital and community settings.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A medical degree and specialist training in geriatric medicine.
- Vocational registration with the New Zealand Medical Council (NZMC) or eligibility for vocational registration.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
