We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Cantabria Lifecare & Village in Rotorua. The successful candidate will have experience in general maintenance, including painting, plumbing, and minor carpentry.

The role involves performing routine maintenance tasks, carrying out repairs, and ensuring the care home's facilities are well-maintained. A strong work ethic, good communication skills, and ability to work independently are essential for this position.

About Our Role:
  • Permanent Full-time role
  • Flexible shift arrangements, including AMs', PM's and weekend's shifts

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of the care home, including preventative measures, gardening, building repairs, and exterior maintenance.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with general maintenance, painting, plumbing, and minor carpentry is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and also independently.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • A genuine love for helping people, with excellent customer service skills, and a friendly and positive attitude.
  • Experience delivering to a quality standard.
  • A full clean driver's license.
