About this role

The department of Anaesthesia at Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral is seeking a skilled anaesthesiologist to join our team. As part of our expansion, we are excited to offer opportunities for growth and development in a supportive and dynamic environment.

We operate a modern theatre complex, consisting of seven operating theatres, with plans to expand to nine theatres plus a private hospital theatre. Our team consists of experienced specialist anaesthetists, registrars, and senior house officers, providing a collaborative work environment.

We have two separate on-call rosters for anaesthesia and intensive care, ensuring our patients receive high-quality care. Our team provides a broad range of anaesthesia services, covering almost all sub-specialties (except neurosurgery and cardiac surgery).

Applicants must be qualified anaesthesiologists who can demonstrate their expertise and passion for the field. We welcome applications from those who share our commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
