New Zealand Post is seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to fill the role of Postage Operations Officer. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for sorting, consolidating, and dispatching parcels and freight at our Railway Ave branch. Your duties will also include working in various products' processing areas, such as preparation, manual or machine sorting, consolidation, and dispatch.
Responsibilities
- Sort and Consolidate Parcels: You'll be responsible for sorting and consolidating parcels and freight at our Railway Ave branch.
- Dispatch Parcels: You'll ensure that parcels are dispatched on time, ready for our couriers to deliver.
- Work in Various Products' Processing Areas: You may work in various products' processing areas, including preparation, manual or machine sorting, consolidation, and dispatch.
Requirements
- Availability: You must be available to work Monday to Friday, 3:15 pm - 5:15 pm.
- Physical Fitness: You should be physically fit and able to lift up to 25 kg.
- Attention to Detail: An eye for detail is essential in this role, as is good geographical knowledge.
