Manufacturing Process Optimization Specialist

Job Overview
">We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Optimization Specialist to join our team at Amphenol IPC. This is a hybrid role that combines programming expertise with process optimization, and we are looking for an individual who can program CNC machines, perform cost BOM analysis, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with customers to ensure their requirements are met.

">This position requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, Fanuc, Haas, Siemens), and CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, Fusion 360). The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and experience interacting directly with customers to address their needs and specifications.

- CNC Programming: Program CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers, etc.) to produce high-precision parts, ensuring they meet engineering specifications and quality standards.">
- Cost BOM Analysis: Develop and manage Bills of Materials (BOM) to assess material costs, provide cost estimations, and assist in production budgeting.">
- Process Optimization & Technical Support: Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.">
- Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve machine or process-related issues, including mechanical, electrical, and software problems.">
- Customer Interaction: Communicate directly with customers to gather requirements, discuss technical specifications, and address any concerns.">
Qualifications

- Education: Associate degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent related experience.">
- Experience: Proven experience as a CNC Programmer with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.">
- Skills: Proficiency in CNC programming languages and CAD/CAM software, experience with creating and analyzing Bills of Materials (BOM), strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills.">
