Auditor - GlobalGAP - QMS (Crops)
This is a wonderful chance to see New Zealand; travelling to and working alongside Aotearoa's growers and exporters in the Horticulture sector supporting them as they take their products to market.
Please note that the preference is for this role to be based in Tauranga. However, we are flexible on location.
The role will require regular travel, with up to two weeks per month away from home during peak season.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits of crop production systems to verify compliance with certification standards.
- Analyze records and processes to assess adherence to regulatory and food safety requirements.
- Prepare and deliver accurate, timely audit reports.
Requirements:
- Tertiary diploma (2+ years) in horticulture, agricultural science, or a related field.
- At least 2 years' experience post-study in the agricultural industry.
- Practical auditing experience of 10 days in management systems (e.g. ISO/IEC 9000, BRCGS Food, or GLOBALG.A.P. Option 2 standards).
About the Role:
This position involves assessing farms and food operations to verify compliance with GlobalG.A.P. certification requirements.
