Job Description
  • This is a full-time, fixed-term position based in New Plymouth, working Monday– Friday.
  • Supporting young people to build confidence, resilience, and wellbeing.

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Team Coach and working in a team of youth workers. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to join our service.

Requirements
  • National Certificate in Mental Health and Addiction Support Work (Level 4) or National Certificate in Youth Work.
  • Understanding of trauma-informed care and working with young people.
  • Full NZ driver's licence.
  • Understanding of Information Technology – Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Current New Zealand first aid certificate or be prepared to obtain one.
  • Previous experience in youth work, social work, mental health, and addiction preferred.
