We're a national organisation with a 40-year history of providing support services to families affected by mental health challenges. Our mission is to empower whanau to build their strength and resilience, and we're seeking an exceptional team lead to join our Taranaki office.

The Position

This full-time role requires regular travel across the Taranaki region. You'll work closely with whanau to develop strategies and tools to manage life when they have a loved one experiencing mental health challenges. To succeed in this role, you'll need strong leadership skills, organisational expertise, and community experience.

Requirements
  • Strong team leadership skills with a minimum of two years' experience in a team lead role.
  • A degree-level qualification preferably related to social services, social work, counselling, psychology, or other health, wellbeing, or community focus.
  • Understanding of tikanga Maori and experience engaging with diverse cultures and backgrounds.
