Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Casual Chef/Cook to join our team at our Silverdale café. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality food and service.

Your Key Accountabilities:

  1. Work on an ad-hoc basis to cover staff absences and ensure seamless service delivery.
  2. Prepare and present meals and cabinet food that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  3. Assist in delivering our menu items, promoting sales and customer satisfaction.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
  5. Support with dishwashing and general kitchen duties as required.

Requirements:

  • At least 2+ years of cooking experience, preferably in a fast-paced café environment.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high food quality standards.
  • Strong understanding of FCP and Health & Safety requirements.
  • A clear, strong communication style and a passion for great food.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
