Job Summary
The Ministry of Social Development is seeking a highly skilled Government Office Administrator to join our team on a fixed-term full-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will provide efficient and high-quality administrative support to our staff.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing high-level administrative support to the team
- Coordinating meetings, events, and travel arrangements
- Organising the flow of documentation and information and maintaining sound processes
- Developing processes and practises that meet the needs of the team
- Minute taking, stakeholder management, and oversight of decisions and action points
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in providing high-level administration, preferably in a government or public sector context
- Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and manage multiple tasks
- The ability to engage with a range of stakeholders in a professional and efficient manner
- Good technical understanding of IT processes and systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Excellent time management and communication skills
