Our Crisis Support Specialist will play a vital role in coordinating and providing specialized services to clients and their dependents in our emergency shelter program. This includes collaborating with our Client Services Team to provide holistic services to survivors of intimate partner violence and their children.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to build trust with clients and their children, assist them in setting and achieving their own goals, and offer advocacy and direct support to promote their safety, well-being, and cultivation of healthy relationships.

We are looking for someone who is naturally resourceful and curious, with experience working with humans of diverse backgrounds. The ability to constructively provide and receive feedback, maintain perspective, and exercise wise decision making in novel situations is essential.

In addition to these skills, our Crisis Support Specialist will be comfortable with computers and able to learn new software programs, including databases. Reliable transportation and punctuality are also requirements for this position.
