We are seeking a talented Network Security Engineer to join our team. As a Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining network security operations to ensure the protection of our clients' critical infrastructure.

You will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to provide operational support, implement new network security solutions, and drive continuous improvement. Our team is comprised of some of the best and brightest in the industry, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for managed network security solutions, including SD-WAN, Managed Firewall, and SASE architecture-based products
  • Monitor and analyse network traffic to detect and respond to security incidents
  • Investigate and resolve complex network and security issues
  • Assist customers in embedding security into their solutions and processes
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Handle service requests and incidents with excellence, following DEFEND processes
  • Support other team members in their delivery to customers

Requirements

  • Prior experience in network security operations
  • Solid knowledge of network security protocols, technologies, and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to write and review designs, reports, procedures, and standards
  • Familiar with network and security tools and technologies, such as Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, SD-WAN, SASE, products from Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet
  • Ability to analyse and interpret network traffic and security logs
  • Excellent problem-solving and trouble shooting skills
  • Strong documentation skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • Desire to expand skills and knowledge
