Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Sales Specialist to join our team based in Auckland, responsible for expanding loyalty-based revenue within the Financial Partner segment. As the primary strategic link between Air New Zealand and major Airpoints financial partnerships, you will oversee multiple portfolios, apply strong forecasting and P&L management skills, and identify areas of opportunity for growth for our leading loyalty program.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed revenue targets by identifying and executing growth opportunities within financial partner portfolios.
  • Forecasting & P&L Management: Deliver precise revenue and profit forecasts, and maintain oversight of financial performance to ensure profitability.
  • Growth Strategies & Implementation Plans: Develop clear, data-informed strategies for partner growth and translate them into actionable implementation roadmaps.
  • Partner Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with major Airpoints financial partners.
  • Contract & Portfolio Oversight: Ensure contract terms are met, regularly reviewed, and updated for clarity and compliance across multiple partner portfolios.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align internal teams (e.g., finance, legal, marketing) to deliver cohesive loyalty solutions and maintain operational excellence.
